This CISRS certification course will give you an understanding of scaffolding components, structure and basic channel scaffold inspection procedures, as well as how to comply with current regulations and codes of conduct.
Entrance requirements-CISRS hopes that representatives have knowledge and experience of scaffolding structures, which may come from the time they spend in their respective industry sectors (such as construction, engineering, manufacturing, offshore, etc.). This experience requires the production of resumes with contactable references and/or certificates. Examples of acceptable experience are as follows:
Represents holding current CISRS scaffolding/premium card
Representatives have participated in scaffold appreciation/awareness courses before.
The representative had previously participated in a scaffold inspection course.
You must have a good understanding of spoken and written English
Health and safety requirements-You must be able to provide evidence of passing the CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test within the past 23 months; or you must hold at least one of the following:
Current CCNSG Security Pass
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (taken within 23 months)
Current offshore survival certificate/card
This CISRS basic scaffold inspection course is designed for managers or supervisors who are responsible for inspecting scaffolding and completing reports in accordance with the 2005 Aerial Work Regulations.
Certification-Students who successfully participate in this scaffolding inspection course will get a CISRS completion certificate, and we will apply for a CISRS scaffolding basic inspection card on your behalf. Representatives must bring passport photos and current CSkills health and safety tests or valid exemptions to obtain formal certification.
